 Truss refuses to share her energy strategy during the two-month campaign. Still, she wants to cap energy bills with taxpayer spending at as much as $116 billion.

A 55-year-old law enforcement officer in England said their country is currently experiencing a 'crisis of the cost of living,' which is extremely bad.

"She's making promises for that," she said. "As she says, she's going to deliver, deliver, deliver. However, we will see in the next few weeks; hopefully, some announcements will help the normal working person."
