Global monkeypox cases dropped for the first time in a month, despite growing concerns about vaccine supply.

Global cases fell 21% from the previous week, with dwindling European caseloads offsetting a continued spike from the Americas.

The World Health Organization said this is because cases have been falling rapidly worldwide recently.

Sixteen countries have not reported new cases, but the virus has spread to more than 100 countries, with 41,000 cases total.

The US saw the heaviest increase in the past week and reported 14,049 cases as of Monday.

However, with a moderating trend in Europe, most new cases are being reported in the Americas, firstly among men who have sex with men.

Demand for vaccines is straining production, and countries are scrambling to provide medicines.

The number of cases has grown continuously over the past few months.

The company has partnered with Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing to provide shots in states where they are needed.

In contrast, health authorities in the US, EU, and the UK have called for clinics to administer shots at lower doses.
